Founder and executive producer of Acme Filmworks, Ron Diamond has been putting together and presenting collections of short films produced by the most important animation studios in the biggest festivals in the world since 1998. Representative of Hollywood’s Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Diamond brings ‘Think Oscar®!’ to Anima Mundi, a selection of films from different periods with three different criteria uniting them: films that won an Oscar®, works that were nominated but didn’t win and finally films that were overlooked
but definitely deserved to have won the coveted statuette. 

Ron is also going to give a lecture at Anima Forum about the strategies and qualities that can make a production be considered for the award. Especially important advice in the first year that the winner of the Award for Best Short Film by the Anima Mundi Professional Jury could be nominated by the Academy for the Oscar® shortlist.
